I graduated from Ain Shams University in Cairo December 1986 and I earned my Board certification in Anesthesiology 1997 , Pain Management 1998 and Palliative Medicine in 2016. I do have special interest in Complimentary medicine and I am Board certified in Acupuncture since 2004. In addition, I have a passion to Cancer pain, and I am fellowship trained in Palliative care from the University of Arkansas for medical Sciences. I have been involved in Academics since my graduation, lectured both at the national and international levels in all Complimentary, Pain and Palliative Medicine Disciplines . I wrote a book Chapter about interventions in Palliative care in 2011.I developed a scientific group called Holistic, Palliative and Pain that has 200 members up till now. My passion for teaching and passing knowledge to the next generation of physicians made me start a biweekly lecture in pain and palliative care subjects as well as an online daily Holistic, Palliative and Pain Exchange with a group of physicians from different areas in the Arab world. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor in Ain Shams University in Cairo since September 2022.
